Great to be submitting something again! I've been so busy lately with starting art school and other things.

This is the first in a series of commissioned cat illustrations. Susie's a very sweet kitty, and I tried to capture her personality here.

I used some different techniques with this, focusing on pencil and colored pencil for shadows and highlights instead of using Copics, and I'm happy with how it turned out.

Susie is beautiful! Awesome! Looks just like her! How wonderful to have her illustrated so well. Way awesome! Better than a photograph of which we already have plenty! <grin>

I am slightly biased as Susie is my cat and I commissioned Naylachan to do this portrait,but this captures Susie perfectly as well as being a beautiful piece of art. I am thrilled with it and can't wait to see the other 3. <3
